The Independence Party of Minnesota offers a clear alternative to partisan politics. More and more people are joining the Independence Party by virtue of democrat and republican gridlock that paralyzes government into inaction. The IP of MN gives common sense, fiscally responsible solutions to real issues facing Minnesotans and all Americans.

Bright, articulate, and eager to change our broken political system. They have hope that good can defeat the forces of darkness that look to tie our system to the past and fear the changes that the future brings. AND growing fast.

We need more people to become involved in the political arena. Peter, the Chair, is good at facilitating the meetings, so everyone would enjoying attending. Therefore, it would be good to join, because you are needed, and, you should enjoy the experience.

Everyone's too Minnesota nice to just pounce upon the food. Once Red Nelson started, I felt free to follow, but didn't find the coffee 'til the end of the night.

Great spirit of sharing, openness, modest experts. It's great that we're open enough to have a couple of Greens not only present, but speaking on a wholly equal basis.

Great group!! So nice to meet people interested in politics but not in extremism. The IP attracts smart centrists and is a force to be reckoned with.

I enjoyed this first experience with MNIP. It was great to have the candidates attending/say a few words. As well, it was a good mix of people. I would attend another event.

  •  Meeting leadership allowed the meeting to be dominated by one member who repeatedly interupted other members. It appeared to me that some people lost interest in the discussion and either mentally checked out or physically left.
