Senate Re-Count Night with Barkley, the IP, and the Saints!
FINAL CALL for RSVPS! Sign up by Monday, May 18!
It's made the online news! You've seen it in City Pages! Be a part of this fun night at the ball park!
Minnesota’s own independent baseball team, the St. Paul Saints, invited Dean Barkley, 2008 Independence Party U.S. Senate candidate, to throw out the ceremonial first pitch on May 23 as the Saints battle in their regular season home-opening series vs. the Sioux Falls Canaries. The Saints have dubbed the night “ReCount Night" in honor of the historic and never ending U.S. Senate race recount.
Join fellow Independents for FUNraising evening beginning with a tailgating party with Barkley at 5:00 pm followed by the game at 7:05 pm. Be one of the first 2500 through the gates and receive a limited-edition Recount Race bobblehead featuring Al Franken and Norm Coleman. Our group is also headlining the 7th Inning Stretch by singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." You're invited to join in the fun.
For a contribution of $25, you'll receive a bleacher reserved ticket and a fabulous tailgating dinner! This exclusive package can only be purchased on the Independence Party of Minnesota's website at www.independenceminnesota.org and sign up by using our online link.
