Channel 11 asked the question "Who will it be?" this last weekend. Now it is your turn.

Who will the Independence candidate for US Senate be? Come meet the candidates and listen to a debate. All of the candidates know to us have been invited: Dean, Kurt, Steve, and Bill.

Light refreshments and cookies will be available. Come on and inform yourself about the candidates, their issues and why they want to be Senator!

Please RSVP soon. The historic meeting room has limited space and we want to accommodate as many as possible.

    • “ Really beautiful place to have a discussion. Not only were the speakers bright, but so was our view of the lake, its green shoreline, and the sun setting across the city. ”
    • “ Great discussion with 3 excellent candidates for U.S. Senate! ”
    • “ It seemed that the candidates tended to have rather similar views on a number of issues ? not much contrast emerged. Also, there seemed to be a number of questions that audience members wanted to ask, including on subjects that weren't discussed during the formal portions of the debate. Perhaps another round of debate is needed where audience members can ask some of the questions they weren't able to at this event due to time constraints. ”
    • “ I would have prefered a more informal meet and greet than a staged debate. ”
    • “ I regret that I could not attend as planned. I had a meeting before this that did not end until 8:20 p.m. I willl plan to attend the next meeting. ”
