Tomorrow's (WED) Meetup on PACs postponed. IRV ACTION MEETING THURSDAY NIGHT

Dear Meetup Participants-
We have a little crisis here in Minneapolis that is forcing us to postpone tomorrow's meetup...my apologies. We were going to discuss how to deal with PAC's...unfortunately the two of us organizing tomorrow's topic have to meet with an election attorney at the same time.
I do invite you to come to the IP's open-to-all meeting on IRV on Thursday. As you know Minneapolis overwhelming adopted IRV as a voting method in 2006. Unfortunately we are more than halfway to the 2009 City Election and it appears that the city is dragging it's feet, possibly putting implementation at risk (it can be delayed until 2013). We are not going to let that happen.
FAIRVOTE MINNESOTA and others will speak to us on Thursday as to implementation progress. The meeting is at the Lyndale Farmstead Neighborhood Center, 3900 Bryant Ave. South in Minneapolis.
